Its been so long since i've been on i've either forgotten or they've changed how to do a lot of things, such as how do i make it so that that picture i fixed is no longer at the top of the page, like switch it for another deviation? i would really love if someone would tell me *pleasepleaseplease*

i was looking back through some of my old deviatoins and journals and wow. i was so immature. i feel like, a million years older than some of those. i'll prolly take the really crappy stuff down. but i'm also planning to put up a lot more poetry and stuff. and i also have kind of a writer's challenge. see, my brother had this really intricate and detailed dream, that was like a story, but it didn't have an ending, and some details were missing. and i don't feel like finishing it, so i figured post it as a challenge. so here is what i wrote down of what he told me about it.
setting: modern/post-modern earth
I and a group of friends were hanging out and went by a store and we came across a group of people that invited us to join a group that granted power and everyone said "thats interesting". I said don't sign until I've examined the contract. The contract was really vague, talked about service toward the goal and lifetime commitment but it required no giving, it was just a lifetime commitment and you had to serve towards the goal. At first when i told my friends, everyone was like, "we don't need to join a cult". then i thought "whats their goal? why so secretive" so i and one of the girls decide to infiltrate by joining up. what it is, is there's this ancient dragon thing that has exceeded the lifespan of a dragon and slowly replaced organic parts w/machines and he's been collecting fragmentts of "something" from space. This something is really powerful, and he wants it. ultimately he wants to use it to restore himself to his prime for eternity. we figure out he is a megalomaniac we don't want to see young and strong forever. so, we, over the course of 3 months, manage to work our way up the circle, till he trusts us enough we can (and do) abduct, (with help of 3 friends who hadn't infiltrated) the machine he had been housing the fragments in. the last fragment is the one that lets you put the others together and then use. its getting close to being put together(in decades he'll have all of them). we have no idea what it is. We took it to the moon to protect it and we found a deserter, she had something interesting. the dragon's original left hand, preserved in a machine exoskeleton. Bits of it were from the dragon's original left hand, and were partially running the machine parts. we can't get hand to activate even though vital signs = good and each piece of the exoskeleton is independently powered. At this point a narrator says "If only they'd known that what they needed was the power band which was also taken, and looks like it doesn't fit on the left arm(elbow to fingers). If they slip that band over the forearm it activates and they can use it to do things and study it to learn his weakness." note: currently he seems indestructible bc he's made of hardest alloys known and removing a piece doesn't stop it functioning. we decided to guard the fragments by placing them on the moon(we own majority of fragments). took shifts of 2 guarding them. we somehow came into possession of high tech gear. note:this was some kind of adventure/plot line. we seeded the moon with 12-20 dragons that can survive and thrive on moon, but they're only infants, so it'll be 10 years before they can defend place. real friendly, they still help defend though only babies, not powerful. 1st time the dragon tries to get it back( he followed us and tried immediately) we managed to repel him, basically by getting lucky. (don't remember how) some fluke, he had to return, he figured he could finish us off later bc our fragments weren't good w/out the final fragment, he had 1000s looking, we had no one, he could come back at leisure. 2nd time he brought faithful commandos. i was guarding both times. this time, looked like he was gonna overpower us bc commandos could do fine work he couldn't. An extra terrestrial robot crash landed on moon, we repaired it and it fought off dragon. ( he ran off bc he didn't want to risk personal injury) The robot had had his programing destroyed, only knew to defend. narrator said "robot was sent to reconfigure fragments, bc they would do good in right hands. those poor kids, next time the dragon attacks, he'll attack their heart 1st(break up group)."
other notes:
the baby dragons are white/blue.
2nd invasion 3 years afters 1st (1st was immediately upon arrival on moon) 3rd invasion was 10 years later( baby dragons now grown up).
magic was present. none of the group that went to the store were spell-casters, although 1 was working to achieve battle wizard. the dragon was powerful sorcerer, but process that keep him alive deadens magic. no battle casters work for him, but movement and vision sorcerers. (sorcerers different from battle wizard)
You make up everything else. And though, obviously, originally the main character was male, you can change that if you want. Or really any of these details, although I'd like it if you'd keep as close to the original as possible. Any form or medium is fine, short story, painting, poem, CGI, whatever. even a novel(or three) if you want. jk. but yeah, link back to this if you do use it.
